You should make sure that you move out early on the closing date. Most agreements of purchase and sale require the seller to provide vacant possession to the buyer on closing. If your buyer is not assuming a tenant and requires vacant possession, you need to make sure that you provide vacant possession before the deadline in the Agreement of Purchase and Sale. The Agreement of Purchase and Sale typically has a 6 pm deadline but you should note that the Land Registry System closes at 5 and if we cannot close by 5, you may need to complete an escrow closing.
