In Ontario, agreements of purchase and sale for residential transactions are typically prepared by the real estate agents.
If you are buying or selling a residential property and have an agent, you should retain a lawyer as soon as you enter into the Agreement of Purchase and Sale.
Commercial, Industrial & Vacant Properties
If you are purchasing any other type of property such a commercial or industrial property or vacant land, you should retain a lawyer as soon as you locate the property of interest to assist you with negotiation and preparation of the agreement of purchase and sale.
